About DAUM medical

DAUM medical was founded in 1993 with the intention to develop innovative products for the growing markets of: interventional procedures under magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) guidance Located in Schwerin in the northern part of Germany, DAUM medical has in its direct vicinity several university centers, which has allowed us to develop a constructive dialog with physicians from different fields and has helped our staff understand what the needs of the users are. In the meantime we cooperate not only in Germany, but also interna- tionally, with leading centers. In this cooperation we continuously seek new ideas that we can then turn into products. Our focus is to offer products that will benefit the patient by improving and simplifying the procedure for the hospital staff. The aim of DAUM is to be always open for new ideas that we receive from the market. By doing so, we can develop our own competence in this growing field, which will then allow us not only today, but also in the future, to offer and support innovative products that fit the custo- mers' needs. The key for DAUM medical is to be continuously open to new ideas in order to analyze their potential to TURN IDEAS INTO PRODUCTS.

	May 1995 January 1993 - engineering office founded by Wolfgang Daum September 1993 - DAUM GmbH was established November 1993 - 1st EndoHand (introduced at MEDICA) 1994 - Technology Prize of the Federal State Mecklenburg Western Pommerania September 1994 - 1st SmartGuide (introduced at MEDICA) 1995 - Innovation Prize of the German Economy May 1995 - certified ISO 9001/ EN 46001 for development, production and sales of medical prototypes and special developments September 1995 - start of the cleanroom production February 1996 February 1996 - certified ISO 9001/ EN 46001 for development, production and sales of disposable instruments for interventional radiology, instruments for minimally invasive surgery and input devices for computers characterized by human anatomy April 1996 - 1st Needle obtained FDA clearance 1996 - start of the CO2-Injector sales September 1996 Summer 1996 - DAUM Corporation was founded (subsidiary in the USA) September 1996 - EC Certificate for disposable instruments for interventional radiology Summer 1997 - new production room for active devices, assembling of in-vitro-diagnostic devices December 1997 - start of the CO2-Injector production and service October 1998 March 1998 - successful audit of the injector production by the TÜV product service Spring 1998 - 11 products have obtained FDA clearance 13 products have obtained CE approval October 1998 - EC Certificate for active injection and infusion devices         MRI Devices Daum GmbH   January 2002 August 2001 - MRI Devices Corporation, of Waukesha, acquires Daum Medical. The new company, MRI Devices Daum GmbH will continue operations in Schwerin. January 2002 - MRI Devices Daum GmbH is certified ISO 9001/ EN 46001 for development, production and sales of disposable instruments for interventional radiology December 2002 - The DAUM piezeoelectric drilling machine obtained FDA approval   January 2004 - MRI Devices Daum GmbH ClipLoc optained FDA approval July 2004 - Intermagnetics General Corporation acquires MRI Devices Corporation       Invivo Germany GmbH August 2005 May 2005 - Intermagnetics General Corporation forms its new medical technology brand INVIVO, integrating MRI Devices Corporation, InvivoMDE and Medical Advance   June 2005 - following this integration our company name has changed from MRI Devices Daum GmbH to Invivo Germany GmbH   August 2005 - Invivo Germany GmbH is certified ISO 9001/ EN 46001 for development, production and sales of disposable instruments for interventional radiology
