Product Information

The Invivo BiopsyGunTM is a semi-automatic gun. After having forwarded the inner stylet, it shoots the outer cannula forward to cut and capture the tissue in the specimen notch. For assessment of the sample and for multiple biopsies, the stylet can be removed while leaving the outer cannula in place. Due to the Low Artefact Titanium, the physician can check the position of the notch prior to firing. Invivo also offers biopsy guns with a short notch (10 mm), which can be used for the biopsy of small lesions or for biopsies in the head and neck region.
