	Product Information
	The Invivo SmartGuideTM is a deflectable multi- purpose needle. The SmartGuideTM has a straight guiding tube and a pre-bent superelastic working tube. This design allows surgeons/radiologists to: Easily access suspect tissue areas and lymph nodes Bypass specific anatomic obstacles (e.g. bones, spine) Bypass vital structures (e.g. parenchyma of organs, larger vessels, nerves). With just one percutaneous puncture, the distal tip can successfully be guided to the area under exami- nation.
	Typical Indications
	Draining of cavities, cysts or abscesses Tumor localization Multiple biopsies with one puncture Injection of pharmaceuticals (chemotherapy substances) Guiding tube for laser fibers and fiber endoscopes The SmartGuideTM can be used for either interventional MRI or CT procedures, such as percutaneous discography and nucleotomy.
